All I need to know is if the installing of a game to hdd will help with texture pop in with games like Mass Effect and Gears.

If yes I'm happy.

actually yes... if its reading the game off the hard disk then it'll load like sh*tloads
faster u wont even believe your eyes... here's some good info for u...

20x DVD read rate (fastest a dvd could possibly read)
27 MB/s

Sata HDD read rate (of course the xbox 360 would use sata at the least)
1.5 GB/s - 6.0 GB/s

so in other words, reading it off the hard disk will make it load at least 55x faster (hence, something like gta4 would probably load the entire map fully in half the time). all this while making the only noise source the fans

my xbox gives me a damn option of promoting, but after i agree to the terms and allow both marketing partners to spam my hotmail, it goes to a status bar... the only catch is that i get a lovely little error message only 5 percent in saying "this service is unavailable right now" which is kinda gay seeing its been "unavailable" since the update allowed us to promote. and now im 18 btw

any help would be much appreciated... seeing i cant get any from microsoft's so called "support"
