After a long absence, I came back and have been contributing to Star Trek Voayger regularly as I watch each episode, and have finally reached a new level: Level 9 - Door Number 2

I'm part way into the 7th season of Voyager, and at 1-3 episodes a night I'll be done soon, but I'll be moving on to The Next Generation after that, so I'll be stepping up in the ranks quickly (assuming there are as many mistakes on the TNG pages as the VOY pages.)

Well I submitted a lot more stuff today and most of it got accepted, and all but one rejection made sense to me. Although, I must say that I'm getting peeved by the rejections I get based on 'unwritten', 'personal preference', or 'old TV Tome' rules; they need to make an official guide so people don't get rejections over simple format/content rules that they might otherwise have avoided if they'd known ahead of time (or, more likely, aren't 'really' disallowed, but are blocked by picky editors.) The ones I did that 'needed work' could have already BEEN properly done if I'd known the 'rules'. And frankly I can spend half the day in one guide at a constant rate of submission when I have time (especially if I write recaps), I don't always have time to sift through dozens of 'unwritten rule lists' in the main forums. I'm all for learning the rules, but I'm not pleased with being blindfolded while I do it.

I went from Level 1 to Level 6 in a short period of time, but haven't gotten to 7+ in the last few days, yet I'm posting more than ever? Weird. At least I'm Level 6 - 83% instead of 0% Anyway, I now have 79 points at the Samurai Jack guide! That puts me at 2nd for now, 3rd if MasterAndrew23 returns.

Something weird happened and MasterAndrew23 is no longer the editor for Samurai Jack (or any guide for that matter.) I wonder what the deal is, I never had any problems with him (besides the diagreement over Jack and the Smackback, but again that could very well be a U.S./U.K thing.) Now Gislef is editor and I'm amazingly second in line for top contributors with 34 points!

I had several updates rejected today because my browser displayed a whole Samurai Jack episode guide as bold, so I alerted the Editor about each one. Suddenly nothing was wrong and they all got rejected, except for a few I'd made a few other tweaks to. If not for that, I'd only have couple denials, instead of 7! Not that I thought I'd keep a perfect score, but to lose out because of browser or site error is more than irksome. I also need to re-watch "Jack and the Smackback", because there may be a difference between the U.S. and U.K. versions if I am indeed right that (my U.S.version of) the episode didn't actually have a line that's listed in the allusions. We will see. If it's not there, there'll need to be a "in the U.K. version vs. the U.S. version" notation.

Level 6 - Small Wonder

Well, I made it onto the top contributors list for Samurai Jack finally. Now if only my Freak contributions go through.
