Updates on Life

Man. It's been a long time since I posted here.

Hmm... Here's basically what's been going on or what happened during this past year.

There's just about a week left of my freshman year of high school. Somehow, I managed to get myself a boyfriend. We've been dating for about 4 months now.

This coming weekend, I'll be going to Sandusky for ColossalCon with my friends and we're going to be dressed as Axis Powers Hetalia characters (I'll be going as Ukraine ;P ). My boyfriend's going to be there too (as Ulqiorra from Bleach) so I hope to see him there.

I have REALLY gotten into anime a lot recently (as you can tell from the statement above ;P). Though I have been watching some DP episodes recently just 'cus nostalgia's been hitting me in the face a lot recently. (THANK GOD Netflix has all the episodes available for streaming!) Gotten into Ace Attorney also. (Edgeworth ♥ )

My uncle-in-law died last summer. :(

DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA involving my guy friend and his girlfriend of over 5 months ever since they started dating... but somehow it seems that we've gotten closer ever since he started dating her... hmm... weird.

WORST. MATH. TEACHER. EVER. This year. God, hated her so much. All the other teachers were good, though.

I wished I could take lifeguarding at school, but the pool has been cut ENTIRELY next year because the stupid levy didn't pass. Oh, well, there's always training at the local pool or YMCA.

Might try to get driver's permit over the summer along with a job. (I want to work at Coldstone!) But the job might not be until I turn 16 in September.

Basically, I have a life (or most of one) now. I might lurk around every now and then though. ;P

Screw LiveJournal. I like Facebook better!

Oh, and happy Memorial Day!

Back from D.C.!

And it was awesome! I had never had as much fun as I did in my life!

I don't think it would of been as fun without my guy friends. Especially my best friend Eric. We've been friends for just about forever and had always hung out with each other.

So, one highlight for the trip was the Changing of the Guard. This was especially important for my friend Eric. He's the Student Council President at the time and because of that, he was able to be involved in it. He had to get dressed in a suit for the event and he looked awesome it it! He'd never looked as good as he did in the suit. So I got a few pictures of him posing like JFK and holding the suit jacket in a political manner. It was pretty much up to me to get a good photo of him during the ceremony. I managed to get a good picture of him touching the wreath with the guard. I printed out the photo and plan on giving it to him since his father wanted me to give him one.

The rest of that day, everybody just knew him as the kid who touched the wreath. Or as this one kid called him, "Suitman!"

For most of the trip to and from D.C., I pretty much did Pictochat on the DS with other kids on the bus with a DS.

There this one kid named Jason who loves to hug EVERYBODY and I mean EVERYBODY. Throughout the trip, he hugged my friend Eric at least 10 times during it. Whenever they hugged I just couldn't help but say, "That's not gay."

My hand got stepped on going up the tight, spiral staircase of this one building in Gettysburg. T_T

The National Cathedral was beautiful! I took the most pictures there. And I also took a picture of my friend Eric doing a pose with fists on his waist. xD And did you know that one of the gargoyles there is shaped like Darth Vader? Kind of ironic.

Eric and I ended up being late for our bus when we went to Mount Vernon. He didn't know that we could go in the house itself and so we went to Washington's Tomb first. We didn't know there was going to be a long line to the building. So our teacher spotted us and kinda scolded us. So we ended up being one of the last people on the bus and then our teacher just scolded ME saying, "Whatever made you slow down, don't do it again." From then on, we were pretty much on-time. O_O

I got a light-up necklace thingy and wore it on Thursday night. We saw the Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Wall.

I also got a Patriot Hat from the American History Museum and wore it all through Friday night. And goddammit people it's NOT A PIRATE HAT. Everybody kept saying it was a pirate hat or called me "Pirate Nancy". Though, there this one kid that I'm sorta friends with that suggested, "Hey, in band, go up to our teacher with the hat on and say 'Arr, I'm a Patriot!'". Since our the Patriots are the high school mascot.

The American History Museum was my favorite. :D Especially for the fact that Stephen Colbert's portrait was there. That made me a happy camper since I like Colbert.

Overall, it was really fun!

Favorite quote from the trip: "Don't touch my rippling muscles!"

That was said by my friend Eric. And to be honest, he's really skinny. We were outside of the Lincoln Memorial playing around. I was doing something that required balance and I kinda held onto his shoulder for balance. That's when he said, "Don't touch my rippling muscles!" Then I replied, "Rippling muscles? More like rippling skin and bone," then I grabbed his arm and squeezed it. The he said, "There! You just did it! You grabbed my rippling muscles!" I'm going to be making fun of him for that until he actually gets some "rippling muscles". xD

Also, while at the cathedral when Eric did the fists-on-waist pose, my other friend Mike commented, "Boy, I can't tell which song to sing: Hail to the Chief or the Superman theme."

:D

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yes. I came back from my old account just to tell you all that it's my birthday!

Any gifts would be nice. Especially if it's through Gaia. Well. I'll come back later and tell you all what I got for my birthday!

*cries eyes out* PLEASE Read! (Plus: Moved account)

Okay, for the main topic: Remember in the last blog post that I talked about an old friend of my parents that got brutally beaten? Well... we recently found out that she just died. She was fighting for her life for almost 3 weeks but death just came around the corner to pick her up. R.I.P. Chevonne. You will be missed. And in other news: I'm actually typing this out from GameSpot and I'll just might as well say that this might be my last blog post on this account. I'm moving to a different account and I'll mainly use it on GameSpot. I might pop up occasionally on my other account on TV.com. If anybody wants to continue watching me or be friends with, track the account Darkness-Faerie. Peace out!

Oh, Good Lord.... (please read... terrible news)

Ok...

On Sunday, we found out in our area that someone that we knew is in critical condition in the hospital.

She was an old friend of my parents.

She was just walking her dog in the park when a man came up to her and beat her on the head with a 15-20 lb. rock.

As of now, she's fighting for her life in the hospital. He skull got fractured from the beating. Already, part of her skull was removed to relieve the swelling of the brain.

The local justice center here said that this was the worst "beating of the head" case they've ever seen.

Also, they already caught the guy who beat her.

For now, we're just going to hope and pray that she'll stay alive and that the man gets put to justice.

God bless her...

*sobs* I hope you'll make it Chevonne.

23 cents!? This is MADNESS!!! (also Friend Code info (for Wii and DS))

Well.... I havn't posted in a while...

Reason for the title:

Yesterday all Papa John's in North-Eastern Ohio were selling large, one topping pizzas for 23¢ each. No that's not a typo. They actually cost 23¢!

Reason for such a cheap cost:

Apparently, in the 2nd playoff game, a few guys wore shirt's with LaBron's number (23) on it with "crybaby" on it. And the Papa John's logo were on the shirts too. So as an apology (and sorta-payback for Cavs fan) they gave away pizzas for 23¢ a pop. HOLY CRAP. It was madness!!!!

People actually waited in line outside of a Papa Johns for 1 hour to over 5 FREAKIN' HOURS just to get their pizza for less than a quarter.

We were originally thinking ealier this week to get the pizza but we passed on it as soon as we saw the lines for it. It's just not worth the wait.

Moar Info!

In other news:

Apparently, my mom's friend that lives in Virginia got hit by a tornado yesterday. The tornado was in her area but it didn't go to where her house was. Her house is fine but one of her pine trees fell on top of her Cadilac. So she pretty much only got some wind damage. I'm just glad that she's safe.

And I should of said this before but: I HAS A WII!!!!

I finally got one 2 weeks ago. I only have 2 games for it right now and I've been renting a few games for it for a week now.

I have Mariokart Wii and Cooking Mama Cook Off for it that I actually own and I'm renting Pokémon Revolution.

Want to race me in Mariokart? FC: 3179-6497-6632

Battle me in Pokémon Revolution? FC: 3007-8776-4096

Please note that I have Revolution rented until this coming Monday. So after Monday, no more fights from me until I buy the game (that's if I will).

But also, if anybody wants to battle me in D/P, feel free to PM me for my Diamond FC (no Pearl yet since I havn't completed the storyline) and PM me if you're adding my to your roster in any of these games or if you want to challenge me to any of these.

Have a nice weekend!

New. FREAKIN'. Banner!

Is this a miracle!?!?! I actually made a new banner for once!!?!? IT'S THE APOCOLAPSE I TELL YA'!!!!!

So yeah.... Death Note banner. The Faerie of Darkness is my new name now. Though I can't change my username here, I like this name better since I'm not obsessed with DP anymore. -___- And more of my usernames will be based on this.

I pretty much did a red overkill on this one. X_X So I might remake this one... I may not.

.....Whatever....

P.S: I just started Spring Break and I'll be leaving for Virginia on Sunday.

HAPPY FREAKIN' EARLY EASTER. BOW DOWN TO ZOMBIE JESUS!!!

Snow Day Today! (And it's not because of snow!)

Wow.... I havn't posted in like..... forever.

Well, I just got a snow day today. Part of it was because it's super cold outside but.... there's no snow. The other reason might be that there's strong wind here. Wind speeds minimmum of 22 MPH and gusting up to 60! There's only been one case of wind damage so far but that was just a highway billboard. So, if you watched the news they're pretty much saying there's really cold air and speedy winds in the mid-west. And I just SO happen to live in the mid-west. *rolls eyes*

Edit: I just let my dogs out and because of the wind my mom even left a note for me saying, "When you leave the dogs out, hang onto the door!" Plus I've also had a bad cold for the past few days. It SUCKS. *coughs out phlegm*

But ah well.... at least I got a day off from school today!
