They didn't talk about every character. I don't agree with Joel being completely inhuman. He is sympathetic to Bill and the loss of his partner Frank. He clearly is glad Tommy is alive. I also feel that he did love Tess, he continued the journey a bit for her. He's just really scarred. There's a lot of sweet dialogue with Tess but you have to wait for right moment to activate it.

The only time i didn't like his character was towards the end. But then again, he was reading on how they experimented on others and didn't succeed. What if Ellie dies and no cure is found? He didn't want to lose her like he lost sarah and tess. To him there could be others like Ellie. He lies to himself as well to Ellie.

i wonder who they're going to choose to explore in DLC. I'm really hoping its either Bill or prequel with Tess.
