This is quite possibly one of the funniest things i have seen on the internet...ok i lie. Its still good though
Warning:There is some strong language :P
If the cable connections to the mobo are solid I'm afraid that you probably have a short in one of the cables. I know that it's too short to reach the back panel of the mobo but I think this is the only way you're going to get to the bottom of this. Try to reposition your PC case to get access to the rear audio jacks and plug your headphones in there. If you get clean reception directly from the mobo but not from the front connectors I'd say it's definitely a short between the mobo and the front header. If you still don't get good reception even when plugged directly to the rear of the case then it sounds like something fishy with the audio drivers. Hope this helps.jcohenxOk thanks, i moved back my speakers, the back works fine but the front still doesnt work. It doesnt matter though, thanks for the help everyone.
Hey everyone, I'm having problems with the front jack of my computer. When i plug in headphones there is no sound, I'm using windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and my mobo is aASUS P5KPL-CM . I had problems with the sound before on vista but i would restart my computer and it would work. On XP i would plug it in and it would work fine. Has this happened to anyone else? I tried plugging in my headphones in the back but the cable doesnt reach. The only reason i have to use headphones is because my speakers are hooked up to my ps3. Can anyone please help me fix this.
PS: I updated my mobo drivers and there is some stupid sound program running in the background called VIA HD. When i tick "Enable front jack detection" a message pops up to say that jack has been unplugged but when i untick it it says that it has been plugged in. Also windows says that headphones are plugged in and working. I tried with several pairs of headphones.
From what i've seen, you don't get XP from killing people, only from completing missions.Yeah the game is awesome, but I am still confused about XP...
say, in 2 different missions, at the end i get same amount of XP, I think it was 120, or so.
In first mission i killed at least 50 humanoid mechs, in another i killed 3 huge mechs...
what's up with that? killing enemies no longer gives XP?
Sure I read that we don't see XP when we kill, but at the end of the mission,
but that doesn't seem to be the case or am I insane?
