Bryan Atomic

Over the past few months I've tried out my share of MMOs including Star Wars Galaxies (big mistake), Everquest II, and now City of Heroes. I've only played it for about a night or so, but so far it is one of the most intense MMOs that I've gotten my hands on. I'll get back to anyone that reads this on how everything works out, but until then catch you all later.

The force

Let's start off by stating that I hate perps. Especially in Swat 4. For anyone that's curious, I'm stuck on the Children of Taronne Tenement level. I've gotten to the point where no strategy guide can do me justice and I've become bitter towards the game. I've even gone so far as to neglect it from time to time, shifting my attention towards Battlefield 2 instead. Hopefully my local Gamestop has the expansion pack availible so I can pick it up in the coming week or so.

Joining the force

You might notice I've recently been reviewing fairly old games. I'm doing this mostly so I can keep track of all the games I've beaten. Just to keep track of things, I've beaten Medal of Honor as of Friday night. SWAT 4 is next on my list, and I really like this game. I don't play many strategy games, but titles like these give the genre a good name. I'm currenlty on the jewerly department thing, and it's frickin' intense. Anyone who's beaten it already tell me what you thought, cause this game should get recognition. By the way, I've been playing it on either Hard or Elite.

Intense

Well I beat F.E.A.R. a mere 15 minutes ago, and it completely rocked. The graphics are amazing, along with enemy AI (really intense), and story. Yes, there is a story behind the gameplay, and it's a damn good story too. I've heard a lot of people saying that it's conventional and not too uninspiring. I, on the other hand, thought the action was nicely woven in to make a great game. So go get it (i got the dvd directors edition) and play the crap out of it. You will love this game, it's a very refreshing first person shooter. Now all I have to do is wait till tuesday for Call of Duty II. Any recommendations for Quake IV?

Movin' on up

Okay so dismissing the fact that all I did this weekend was play Indigo Prophecy, I've got nothing to do. Here's my dilema; I still have Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault to beat, however F.E.A.R. is coming out tomorrow and I'm going to be completely engaged in it. I'm the kind of gamer that focuses mainly on one game until A)I realize I don't like the game as much as I thought or B) I finish it. So I think I'll put MOH aside until F.E.A.R. is beaten. There, I solved my own problem.

Secondly, I'm going to start putting together a spare computer for the lan parties that I usually attend, probably using my old hardware. For anyone interested, I'll post my recent computer specs:

Pentium 4 3.2GHz Prescott
Asus P4C800 E-Deluxe motherboard (socket 478 )
2 GB OCZ PC3200 (2x 1GB) memory
520 WT OCZ power supply
ATI Radeon X850XT PE AGP 256 memory
80 GB 7200 rpmWestern Digital 8MB cache hard drive
200 GB 7200 Western rpm Digital 8MB cache hard drive

Indigo Prophecy

I had the an awesome chance to pick up Indigo Prophecy yesterday, and it's a great game! I love the multi-colored eye coordination excersises, along with the button mashing. It has an excellent story plot, with the engaging characters and story elements. Apparently it has three endings, and I plan on playing it multiple times. Well I'll try and update this thing as much as possible, over and out.
