Not sure if you're into 3D, but you can get a 120Hz 1080p 3D monitor for alot less than the Dell...-GeordiLaForge-I was planning on getting a 3D monitor but I don't feel like picking up a specific GPU just to see a bit of 3D. Thanks for the recommendation though man

About the best monitor you can get in each price range:
- ~$160 - ASUS VW224U 22-Inch Widescreen
- ~$200 - ASUS VW246H 24-Inch Widescreen
- ~$300 - ASUS VE276Q 27-Inch
- ~$570 - Dell UltraSharp U2410 24-inch (basically top of the line)
You just have to ask yourself: Is it worth it to you to spend the extra money to move up from one rung to another?
Good luck and happy gaming!

This is perfect man, thanks for the list. I feel to go with the UltraSharp as I usually don't upgrade things for quite some time. Just have to find a good price on it now, there isn't a direct conversion of currency so it ends up costing £400-£500 ($660-$820). That's pushing my budget but I can save up for a couple of weeks moar. Again, thanks for the help guys
Hey guys, just wanna know what monitor to get. I have no experience with HD screens (still using an old Dell) and need to upgrade before building my PC in November.
I have a £300 ($500) budget, but I'm just confused when it comes to how many monitors there are out there. Main priority is gaming, so I know a fast response time is needed. I have been looking at a few Dells and a HP, but have found very few reviews on each.
Any help's appreciated guys
[QUOTE="khanani87"]probably battlefield just cause it looks AMAZING, but no-one knows what mw3 will look or play like so i can't be sure. Blackbeard33Exactly...no one knows anything about Modern Warfare 3. So I, personally can't make an informed opinion just quite yet.

Hey guys, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask but I thought it appropriate asking in the Hardware thread.
Anyway, I'm looking to build my first PC. I've never owned anything powerful before and wanted to know what kinda things I should buy. I have a friend helping me but his knowledge is... questionable to say the least.
My budget's around £1000 ($1600), though I suppose I can push out a bit more if I need to. Obviously tailored towards gaming (BF3 top priority, though I know specs haven't been released). I can wait until December if there are specific pieces of hardware that are worth waiting for (uni awaits), though I want to get an idea if I should be buying anything now. Any help would be appreciated guys

start at the top of the hill and put a session marker there
3 or 4 pushes should do the trick
flip into the grind then while your grinding flip again into another grind then just flip out
you dont need to grind the while thing but try to get a 1.5 or 2x multiplier
my best score was 1019 with a nollie360 inward heelflip to nose blunt heelflip to ta slide and 360 hardflip out
