Yeah the quick blades are cool, so are the preview windows for videos. Have tried a great chunk of my video library (streaming through MP11) and they work really well. Some of the new friends list stuff I won't use, and the massive Xbox games to buy are a joke if you don't have unlimited net access accounts (Australia) or the 120GB drive.

Have noticed that the US and Aus dashes are now different. In aus we still have a separate Messages, Friends & Chat and IM buttons on the XBOX LIVE pane. Thats where your new Inside Xbox button is.

All I really wanted was the video codecs, and they're here. Everything else use just more fat on the edges.

[EDIT] Keep clicking on a "Maximise your Xbox Live Update!" button [from either the xbox live or games panes] that takes me to a "Xbox LIVE Fall Release 2007" page, listed with topics ie. "XBOX Originals"; "Family Safety"; etc, but only two of the buttons on that screen give me info, the others just report back with the X CAN't RETRIEVE INFO pane. Weird

Hmmmm...... Almost 25 past 9 and still no update. I know the MS website said nine here in Sydney, but this is microsoft. Don't want to upload it on a rainy night??!?!?

OK so everyone knows - I have eaten the above words. 9PM [AEST] is 10PM in Sydney due to daylight savings. 30 mins to go..............
