New blog post, as I've started to get a tad nostalgic, so I wondered, is there any TV show you outright love but would never tell anyone in real life? For me, the best example of that is, get this, The O.C.. Hey, the show is really different from the spoiled, preppy, 90210-vein of primetime soap operas, and I love the snark. I would of never gotten in to it if it wasn't for my sister watching a random episode at a friends house one day, and the next, while the family and I were at Sams, found the first season for $20, and just went out and bought it. By next week, she became addicted. So much so, she had me watch the show for myself, and I became a big fan of it, as well. Odd now, two years ago she'd never touch the TV unless there was a dance orcheerleading competition and now she's hooked on various shows like this, One Tree Hill, America's Next Top Model, and Gossip Girl.(all of which= ick!)
Now, as for a show I love but would never admit to on here, I have this odd thing for Hannah Montana(and I probably just lost all of your respect right now). I find it odd why I do, especially considering the fact that my music library consists of bands like No Ca$h, Leftover Crack, Cannibal Corpse, and Lamb of God. But, there's just something about that wig(and herself, and more importantly,Emily, :D) that keeps me coming back. To my surprise on Tuesday, I discovered that my sister started putting the show on her series tracker list on the DVR, and, of all surprises, she's addicted to both the show, and her music. I'm loving this chance to spend more time with my sister watching the show, which normally isn't of her taste. Oh, and to add insult to injury, I can't get enough of My Gym Partner's A Monkey and call it the true successor to my beloved Rocko's Modern Life.
As for other news, eh, not much else, really.
EDIT: Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention, I finally caught both AD"s "Hairy Christmas" episode, which I thought was a brilliant idea, well executed, and quite possibly a future Christmas tradition, as well as DP's "The Fright Before Christmas", which, although heart-felt, felt too contrived towards using the cliched "Night Before Christmas" tribute.
