Two Opposite Opinion About Gaming

It was 22:23 of May 29, 2009. I was munching lychees, watching TV on a sofa. The Korean's Arirang channel was showing e-sports. I saw a brilliant Korean pro gamer playing Starcraft. He was suppressed badly at the beginning of the game then he used his Valtures to skirmish the enemy. Then, he quickly rebuilt his arsenals and turned the table with a massive assault forces. He was congratulated. He made his team proud. The fans called his name. The TV broadcasted his success. I switched the channel as e-sports went out. The local channel TBS was broadcasting the same topic, gaming. They showed an entirely different perspective. Thai TV showed a scene of a child having fights with his parents for stopping him from playing his game. Then, a researcher took the scene and said things like gaming was a serious problem, blaming games for youth's aggressive behaviors. I then switched the channel again. But I found no interest on any other channels, for the gaming thing was in my head. How two channels could show an entirely different thing? One channel, I saw a successful young man earned his living playing games. While one another, I saw people blaming games for their children's miserable deeds. The Lychees was not so sweet. Yet, they are not as bitter as the idea that Thai TV was trying to push into my head. So, I turn off the TV and turn on my computer. Lychees in the mouth and a mouse in a hand, I enjoy my time in my new favorite, DOW II. When the crime broke out and the criminal said they just followed GTA. Lots of people blamed games for problems. I think this is the time for this quote. "The first axiom of defense is to understand what you defend against" The Horus Heresy: The Lightning Tower by Dan Abnett, through Rogal Dorn It seems people around my house are feeling sure about the origin of crimes. How about you? Do you think gaming is a problem for aggressive behavior which results in crime?
