This would kill Diablo for me. Actually.... I wouldn't really care. It would get singnificantly lower ratings on Consoles and be a significantly dumbed down/less graphically beautiful game. But they can go ahead and have it. Also the fact that they hired the guy doesn't mean that it's coming to consoles. It just means that they hired the guy to see if it's feasably possible for Diablo III to work with the console community.
They would have to do a wheel for the spells and abilities but what about the spells that you click on a specific spot of land or say, a bridge that isn't necessarily "selectable" how would I set my tornado to ravage the backfield while I cleaned up the front lines with my sword? Or how would I block off a choke point with a spell or even choose the exact place I wanted to blink?
Basic point being..... It would be a significantly dumbed down version of the game and if I know anytihng about Blizzard it's that they don't release Sub-Par products, therefore this wouldn't be released to consoles. Plus with Activision giving them a "release it when it's finished" attitude (because they make them $$Billions$$of dollars) it wouldn't fit well with the rigid schedule that consoles have for realease dates. That's about it in a nutshell IMO.

All of these guys are wrong. Ebay and Amazon both take a cut of your precious money, Gamestop is not even going to be considered an option.
It's ALL about craigslist baby! You'd get at least $35 cash for MW2 and at least $20 for the others. I don't know how far you live from a big city but that might make a difference in how it all shakes down. I tend to get SO SO SO much more from selling my games on craigslist than I do anywhere else. And I always just meet someone at a gas station or something and swap cash for game. Simple Simple. Just include a real picture of the game and the real disc, showing any flaws, be honest always and you're golden.
I think I'll rent AC2 just to test the waters and if it's good I'll buy it. I do like the multiplayer aspects of all games (I have a 1.0 K/D in MW2 so I'm not absolutely terrible)
The thing that turned me off of MW2 was that it was a whole complete detracted mess. Run from a predator missile while you get shot by a helicopter in a stealth bombing zone with a sentry gun aimed at your head, an AC130 blowing you up and a nuke counting down isn't my idea of "fun". You can't stay alive in MW2 for more than a minute. I really liked/like the original Modern Warfare because it was simple but addictive. Like counterstrike. Lovely counterstrike.
What happened to the days where nukes didn't rain from the sky and RC car's didn't blow up at your feet every 10 seconds? (which I hear is pretty annoying) Mac11 with Steady Aim, Hardline and the RC car every 2 kills? Is it as overpowered as they say?
Thanks for all the opinions so far. Looking like Black Ops is going to take the lead.
I DID forget to put Fallout: New Vegason there, so consider it in the official running.
Although I do get a little OCD with the Fallout series as well (looking up every random building and every person I encounter to make sure there isn't an Uber Weapon or a dialogue option I'm missing) I really just gotta shut my computer off and play the damn game but I feel like my character will be "sub standard" to say the least. Although I know it's much more rewarding to find the Alien Blaster in Fallout 3 randomly than it is to look it up and trigger the random encounter. Anyway, I'm sidetracked.... damn brain. Continue.....
So I have an itch to play a new (or used) game but I don't know which one to get. I don't want to start a fanboy sound off but here is the list of games that I'd want to play and haven't yet.
I recently bought Mass Effect 2 and haven't beat it yet because I don't have a great deal of free time so accessibility would be one feature I'd like to have in my final choice. Also I'm obsessive about ME2 and can't really make a mission decision without looking it up and seeing if it's the right or wrong one before I choose it. It's a personal hell inside my brain. Damn interwebz. Anyway I've been reading reviews and whatnot but would like to hear from the community.
This is for Xbox 360 and My list is: (in no particular order)
- Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit --(I absolutely ate this game up on the first playstation and really like racing games, even the fake ones with turbo, so here it is on the list)
- Halo: Reach --(while I'm not a huge fan of dumping 2 rounds of ammo into a guy to kill him, I heard the single player was good, if this isn't any better than Halo 3 then don't vote for it please. I was disappointed with Halo 3 AND O.D.S.T so I'm cautious around this one.)
- Assassins Creed:Brotherhood --(I loved A.C.2 but I REALLY felt ripped off at how short it was and definitely wish I would have rented it. I got it all done, even the feathers(read OCD above), in about 3 days)
- Call of Duty: Black Ops --(I heard the Single Player was pretty good and I like a more realistic shooter, however realistic an RC car with C4 on it is :P, but I'm leaning toward this, I just don't want an incredibly short single player experience, which I think it is. If this game is better than MW2 I'll buy it, if not, I won't waste my time)
- Something You've Recently Played:That Trumps all of these games. --(If you've played something that you NEED me to experience, I'll dive in.)
So there we have it. Vote below and give me a reason or two. Please !!!DO NOT!!! turn this into a flame war or fanboy competition between Halo and COD and Please MARK YOUR SPOILERS! I don't want to pay $60 for a game and know the ending.
Just be considerate and mature, thanks for the input!
