Why I'm not buying next-gen console PS5 day one? Simply put, I'm not interested!

It's been a long time since I posted a Blog, guess I better start one now before I forget.

As far as next-gen consoles goes, I used to pick up my day one purchase next-gen consoles and they been a hit or a miss. Yes, I know new tech is always interesting which builds hype around it, but I'm not hype buying anything right now, I bought PS2 and PS3 on launch day, even PS4 for that matter but I won't do it for PS5. I still have so much to do on PS4, I'll wait 3 or more years buying PS5 when it fully matures enough to warrant a purchase. But I probably would have bought one on launch if I didn't have a gaming PC.

Console launches always have a lackluster game library. Many basic features like media apps are missing and the system software is far from mature, for which you can expect bugs and crashes. Launch consoles usually have annoying hardware flaws that are a pain to deal with. The quirks have not been ironed out. Did I mention the underwhelming libraries at launch? Nothing guarantees that a new console is successful and translates to great support for years to come.
