I've been in the mood for some retro RPGs lately, and am curious about which version of the first two FF games to pick up. I've got PS2 and DS, so its either the PS version or the GBA version.... Obviously, one's a handheld and one isn't, but are there any other significent differences between the two? Are the graphics, unlockable content, etc pretty much the same?

If anyone could give me their recommendation, I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Suikoden Tactics (weak story, but very addictive battles)

Vandal Hearts 1 & 2 (awesome stories, fun battles)

Adventures of Alundra (Zelda's evil clone!)

Breath of Fire 1 & 3 (I just couldn't get into 2 for some reason...)

Golden Sun 1 & 2 (awesome dungeons and stunning environments)
