I like it, the track is no frills, and they didn't give you much to work with as far as modding your kart and character. I really hope they work on the power ups a little and release some more with DLC or something because right now the game play is lacking a little bit, but I expect when you are racing online against human competition it will be a little bit more fun.

This whole topic depends on people's tastes. For example, I don't like war games, but because MW2 was so highly regarded and people rave about the multiplayer I bought it. I think I made it through 1/3 of the campaign and I never picked it up again, so to me it was overrated.

I don't like to replay games usually, so I always trade them in towards new ones. I am hoping by picking up modnation racers and red dead this month I will have some games with decent multiplayer to keep them for a while. I have a pretty short attention span though I will trade in games before I even finish them because they become too repetitive. I guess the thing to do is to know yourself. I know when I am done playing a game, and then I get rid of it.

One thing I don't understand about the reviews for this game is why all of the reviews from Europe are 7 or below and why the American ones are in the 8.5-9 range. Also I think if the load times weren't so horrible the reviews would be much higher, that seems to be the one criticism that all the reviews have in common.

I bought the Tritton AXpros for my PC and they can be used on the PS3 as well, as far as being able to tell where sounds are coming from I think they work pretty well on PC. I only used them on my PS3 once, while playing uncharted, and they seemed to work OK, so you might want to look for some more information regarding the headset and the PS3.
