realistically, who would expect ANYONE, no matter how old they are, to be hit men? yeah, no one will expect the high school hit man scene, but no one will take it seriously either. BUT! i was thinking about it, (yes for some stupid reason i think about other peoples forums through out my day) and if you do it in a live action anime way, the whole, school uniform, huge city, very urban setting, it might be believable in that sort of way. kinda like....kill bill. realistically, its not very probable that people like that exist in the world, but quintin (sp) made it work. and perhaps you can do it too. it will take ALOT of talent to pull it off. good luck.

i totally LOVE this idea. however, the only thing that would turn me off of it would be the whole rocky music type thing. i think some sort of soundtrack thats more industrial and dark and gritty would be better. in a film like this, its a fresh idea, dont dumb it down by using someone elses style, cause it seems to me that you have a clear idea in your head how the audiance should be feeling. this could be an awesome cross between quinton tarintino (sp, too lazy to look it up.) and rob zombie. im seeing....boondock saints, the way the camera angles were so artful. do it in your own way, make it totally crazy, add music no one knows, but totally will compliment your story and you have a winner.

hm. i like number two better. however...you can still make that into a dry comedy. place some light heartedness into it so its not all daunting on the audiance. the only problem i have with this whole story is that they are in high school. very unlikely for any of this to take place in high school. who in their right mind would hire a high school student to do such things as 'offing' someone? if you are set on this, there needs to be an adult influence that maybe understands the minds of teenagers, maybe a teacher with a dark history. either that or you could just make the characters older. college maybe, its so cliche', but way more believable than this high school based soap opera. i think you are on to something here, certainly keep woking on its believability and the details, and youll have something alot of people will want to watch.

ive always thought that. ive suffered from borderline personality disorder, depression, and anxiety. when i started treatment, the first thing they did was issue an IQ test to see how well i could understand my disorders and my treatment and based on that, they would treat me on the level i needed. my doctor said something interesting that ill never forget, ' your IQ is fairly high, and its not uncommon to see intellectual people of your level to suffer from these issues.' and indeed, many people i surround myself with are pretty mentally not all together. my theory is that people of a higher IQ use different logical stratagies than the norm and due to this it can be difficult to blend in to society. i personally find it extremelly difficult to work with people because my problem solving skills are just completely different than those that i work with. i get annoyed, i get anxious, and then i get depressed. its an on going cycle. the same, ironically goes for the under developed mind. they use different logic, and because of this, they find it difficult to blend in as well. i think the importance of 'meshing' into your own society is one of the most important things we, as humans, feel we need to do and that ideology can go back into our 'tribal/animalistic days' when it was important to establish your place in the 'pack'. when you are one of 6% of the world, its difficult to find your place among the rest of the 94% and this, in my personal, non professional opinion, could be a huge reason we suffer like we do.

i suppose they are proud in the same way spiritual people are proud. just because they dont believe in god, doesnt mean they dont believe in anything. perhaps they believe in the full power of self and because of this, they may be proud that they have figured something out about themselves. no matter what belief, pride in ones self shouldnt be discourage. just like any emotion, it can be taken to far and then we go into the realm of 'deadly sins' but since we arent talking about that aspect of it, ill this comment as is.
