I will probobally start playing again when GW:EN comes out. Just so I can be a badass in GW2. BTW, I have logged around 2k hours in my old GW buddy, but quit playing 2 months after nightfall, and 1 week after the canthan chapter for like 3 months at a time (still not playing).
Guildwars isn't much like any other mmo. It is 100% skill based and there is not really a level grind. (Max level can take anywhere from 2 days-7 days. But it all about equipment + skills and how you use them. They limit you to force tactics, and it works well. I remember some fun old days where I would press a button and 4 enemies would die, but damn how people have gotten better. But you are at a major disadvantage not having the 4 playable classes, extra skills and battle types. I reccomend buying nightfall this month, then the new expansion coming out next month. Then decide if you want the 2nd expansion (the worst and the 2 playable classes, but does have a nice 12v12 pvp system) because GW2 will be coming out inabout (a guess) 6 months.
One last thing, no class is weak, all classes can be invincible, all classes canmake an opponent quit moving, all classes can spike (cause alot of damage instantaneously),except druid but I haven't played as one in like 8 months.
