Yeah...that's not something that most people have the pleasure of experiencing in their lives. I hadn't...until tonight, that is. Rest assured, dear readers, I'm not in trouble or anything. Apparently, one of my roomates was in a car accident, fleeing the scene before the police arived. The responding officer notified the department where my university is located. Two officers came up to my apartment, looking for any information as to her whereabouts.
The reason why I was awakened at gunpoint is because the first cop came into the apartment when nobody answered the door. Upon inspection of the other side of the apartment, where the roomate lives revealed a mess of clothing (looking like the apartment had been ransacked, but she's really just a big slob). The cop opened my door, gun drawn with flashlight shining on my bed, where I was sleeping! It's a good thing I didn't move fast, who knows what might have happened to me then...
Well, the long and short of things is they were looking for a way to contact her to see if she was alright. The accident was pretty bad, I guess, though no other cars were involved. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to help out much...but I did what I could. I didn't have her cell phone number or any way to contact her. The search for her continues, I'll let you all know as I find out more information!
