FPS realism: Homefront new gamereleased review

Special Update 6-11: Obviously, after writing so much reviews on realistic physics, this would be an update and a minor tribute/homage to legendary prankster Ryan Dunn as well. Homefront was released with realism put into a new height in game graphics. Except one thing, it was THQ's first game to be released. Problems in glitches and graphics go up against exceptionally well-put together gameplay physics. The Tony Hawk game artist manufacturers have come into a new height of gameplay with the biggest detailed environments you will ever see in a fps online strategy game.

The guns as well are grade A physics. The tanks themselves are unusually very powerfully unfair but hard to earn, being able to blow up people behind cars, buildings and fences with powerful armor..so beware(wat? no fusilage explosion weak spot-hit effect?!?). The online mode explores some minor glitches during setup except that might be because of the demo version I am playing. With a load of options and custom gun setups, its easy to over look the browse feature being glitchy anyways. Who even likes prying eyes? Really though, the only problem or qualm I came across with this game is that one thing..THe graphics. Okay so they're North Koreans. Not middle-eastern muslims and mexicans. Thats passable. Some wear akward hoodlum gangster hats having to do with teh specops setup, that's passible. The Korean army or mexican army watever don't carry skateboards. Thats passable, but for one thing, the characters in the US army kind of have cartoony manerisms, a slight akward run is added here or there. Although this is just a demo review, the one thing I had with this and gwar 2 was the sniper modes of the games. At least in the demo versions, not full versions certain stages made the sniper mode the most fun. Usually games have hard sniper modes, I didn't find anything bad about homefront's sniping capabilites. Easier to use than bfbc2. And the drones even are fairly hackable in terms of getting lots of points. Click on this long link for a real indepth review. One thing this game does have though is fun and realism and it would be all passible if you didnt grow up with tony hawk.

There's a first time for everything. Ever since TOny hawk 2 has had Thq its been the master of skateboarding games and realistic environments, but if you have a company say...the gran turismo artists do something like this its going to feel weird unless they invented the genre like EA has with their winning bf 1942 mechanics. I'm an amateur independent reviewer so it may be a bit biased. Do profesionals tell amateurs to do their job? No. Can the winning odds change drastically. Yes! Can you snipe 5 or 10 guys and get away with it? Hell YES! In all due respects though..Ryan dunn may you rest in peace. A true akward reminder that we are alone in the vast universe. Having lost a family member of my own, I have gone through the same experience. Practice makes perfect. To all skateboard enthusiasts and daredevil stuntmen, The end.
