Hey, just got into the blogin scene.... well im gona talk about the Nvidea GeForce 7900's. Well, I was a way for a week because I was taken away from my computer *Cough* er, I mean, I was building a model car....(stupid glue)..... anyway, while I was gone, they go ahead and release the 7900's, so here I am not knowing a thing about it. Well suposedly a 7900 is equal to 2 7800's in SLI, and the SLI solution is about 100USD cheaper, and every one says it's a good deal, I still think the 2 cards will cause to much heat....but it does help bragging rights.*imagins having 2 videocards in SLI* What about overcloking? I'm sure 2 7800's can handle more overcloking stress than 1 7900 (as long as u manage to keep it cool)...... right?
All-in-all I don't think it's worth it curently, (no im not saying this because im still runing AGP) first off, there are cheaper alternatives to the same speed (and there is still the fact of overclockability) and with direct x 10 comming around the corner it is not going to be helpfull with that. Unless you MUST have the newest parts, I would stay away from this one.
