A few years ago I would hvae agreed with Metal Gear-like batman, but if you have played Oblivion and Assasin's Creed, the open world format with various different major/minor plots (avoid Spiderman 1,2,3 type sidestories) offers the gamer an immersive experience. Oblivion has so much depth and costume options, the fighting would obviously need some tweaking but the game engine would be unbelieveable. Assassin's creed is more fluid but Bethesda delivered a masterpiece. I know it's a pipedream but man would that be unbeleiveable, I'll probably start a blog on this.

Batman, at least the gritty, violent, have-a-back-up-to-the back-plan, supremely intelligent Batman most fans imagine would destroy Spidey, Spidey is naive, if this is for keeps, Batman could maim, if not kill Spidey, he wouldn't hesitate to do what's necessary, exploding bombs, acid, ice, gas, elite fighting fighting techniques whereas Spidey brings superstrength and reflexes, he is young, is not "indestructible," Batman would wait for Spidey to approach, would probably use Spidey's overconfidence initially. If you haven't seen it, New Frontier Batman, scared the crap out of Martian Manhunter, spidey is a teenager/youngster, prone to intimidation and lacks confidence. Anyway, pipe dream for fans, by the way, love Spidey and Bats
