@hystavito: I imagine so. Ship stealing is a game mechanic, and fps inside ships is an important part, so i figure so. Capital size ships where design with the possibility of shootouts inside them.
@Khasym: that's their problem. CIG offers these ships are DONATIONS to help the game get better and bigger (which it has).
If someone buys a Vanguard for hundreds, it should be because they really want it before the game releases.. That's what most people want. Ense why the vast majority of sales come from starter packs which cost 45-60.
Those who expect Star Citizen to value the hundreds they payed for, that's no CIG's fault. There's a disclaimer about donation right in their face.
It's not different than offering high tier rewards that cost more than 60 on a Kickstarter.
@mr-gadgets: Then what's the issue? SC isn't a one and done game. Every dollar is saved to keep CIG running for longer and longer. When the game launches they'll have to rely on game sales and potential credit buys to keep running.
In fact, all of this awesome stuff is possible because they didn't stop funding.
@mr-gadgets: Because if high end ships costed pennies, everyone would get them. IRL prices are a reflection of their future ingame price. Why would a multi crew high end ship cost as much has a starter ship?
And if you don't want it, don't buy it. Earn in game at release
