Well in the UK the system launches in a few weeks and you can still pre-order one and have it guaranteed for launch, whereas you simply couldn't do that with the other two systems when they launched.

I think that this is predominantly down to the price, i have to say if it were £100 cheaper i'd go and pre-order one right now. That is the general consensus over here i think, its just too much money.   

Another problem over here is that HD is not relly as popular as it is in the US and most people dont even know what blu-ray is!! So these extras that the PS3 has become fairly redundant. In reality what your left with is a £500 games console that can only play PS3 games and a few old PS2 games.

Perhaps a little more tact is in order from future articles like "ten things", it was very negative, but it did have some valid points.
