I always invert the Y axis. I got used to that playing flight games on PC with a flight controller.

I have a 60gig model and it sounds like the fan is running very quietly when in standby mode. I was wondering if that's normal.

I agree with you on GTAIV. I've played it on 360 for over 70hrs and love the game. However, it gives me headaches when I drive fast. Initially you don't notice any framerate problems, but when you move fast or things get hectic, it feels like you're stuck in mud. Hard to explain, but I know it has to do with framerate. Does anyone know what the framerate on GTAIV is?

As for your question, I do think it's dissapointing when "next-gen" games have poor frame rates. I know developers are limited by hardware performance, but it seems like some games ship before they're finished.

I don't know much about video formats, but I take it the PS3 doesn't support Microsoft's wmv files. I have several vid clips in this format that I'd like to store on my PS3. It looks like the PS3 will support Quicktime video files (don't know the file type). Is there an easy way of converting from wmv to the Quicktime format? Would this solve my problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had the same problem. You're supposed to update the game first.I fixed it by deleting the 1.1 update in the Game Save Utility folder. Then I loaded the game and went to "Online". That promted me for the new update. After that, reboot the console. Then you can download the Time Attack Mode again. Hope that helps.

On my 3rd. First one got the red ring of death. Second had a disc tray that would only open/close 50% of the time. Even with all the problems, I think it's the overall best console. That's taking into consideration the available games, on-line service and user friendly dashboard.
