This is wrong, this tacit response to a firestorm of controversy will not do. Until CNET can provide a better explanation for the reason Jeff was let go, and by better I mean any explanation, my paid subscription will remain cancelled. I didn't agree with allot of Jeff's reviews, but the unceremonious way he was fired for (from all reports) doing his job the best he saw fit, was unethical and even immoral. and will not go unanswered. I urge anyone reading this to cancel any paid subscriptions (as I did yesterday) and boycott any advertiser who buys time on any CNET website. A man was rewarded for 11 years of service and devotion with indifference and termination when he as seen as a liability. Congratulations gentlemen you put out the fire with gasoline.
