@mooglestar: Gans is a great director. And his actors have always been top notch for me. Brotherhood of the Wolf, Silent Hill and even his take on Beauty and the Beast. I'll trust him on this because this was the game he wanted to make into a film first.

I'm a huge SH fan and SH 2 is my all time favorite game. I abuse myself twice a year playing it (it's a Halloween staple). And I will admit, the extended gameplay has sold me. The only thing I'm not liking about it is the button prompts, reticle and item collected "HUD". The original was brilliant at just dropping you in with zero tutorial, no prompts, HUD or indication you had even taken damage unless you went into the menu for it. I'm hoping there is an option to play it "clean".

@santinegrete: For me the only thing that needs to be remade with 5 is that damn ending. Boulder punching, Wesker monster--just way to over the top and out of hand. I also remember that when 5 was first announced they had stated that the daylight would act as an "enemy". Not sure how that was supposed to play out but apparently they didn't either and shifted gears.

@TacticaI: And yet streaming services are now getting expensive, add tiers, with adds, pay more, don't get adds, hiking prices twice a year, pulling content, editing content (like Disney removing or altering dialog for films like French Connection and Predator) etc. Everything starts off as a "better alternative" until those that control the alternative start finding better alternatives (excuses) to change what they offer like Prime.
