There are a lot more scarier things in this game. There are moments that will genuinely have your heart pounding. Not to mention the very idea of a nuclear holocaust. That's the scariest thing for me. But yeah...I hate spiders.

The moment I was playing Fallout 3 on my 360 and then switched to Dead Space :) That was scary :)

Thank you Mistwalker. This is a great game. Should have gotten an 8.5.

Have to agree with everyone else in this forum.

No technical issues.

Great game.

8.5 easy.

Let's see if Gamespot values it's members opinion and acts responsibly with a changed review.

I thought the 360 can upscale DVDs to 1080p only through HDMI? Can it do that through VGA too?

Actually you can get 1080p through component. The Spring 2007 update added this feature. I have a core system and a 40" Samsung 1080p TV (The M8 Series). This TV supports 1080p through component. Whether there is a difference in quality between HDMI and Component 1080p, I don't know. But HDMI is a 100% uncompressed digital signal while component is still analog.

Get both of them. you won't regret it. they may be classics, but they are still some of the best games out there.
