Its been a while since I wrote anything here- taking time for school and work and oh yeah... playing games.

I love the computer- it has not failed to let me down in the least.  Im thinking of adding a second video card via SLi but I cant find my card online right now- maybe on eBay- but I dont want to ever be screwed out of playing the latest game on the highest settings.  The differences are incredible between max and minimum

... okay apparently i have to work- but maybe ill back sooner than later next time

Holy crap, this brand new computer thing rocks.

First game I bought was Far Cry- supposed to be beautiful- and it is.  Spent a few days playing that then I bought F.E.A.R. and spent a few days and nights playing that/ scaring the crap out of myself- ive developed a strange fear of little girls in red dresses- dont think ill ever be able to read little red riding hood again. Then i downloaded a demo of Quake 4 and I think i may just have to go get that next.

I used to be thrilled when my old comp could play a game on the minumum settings- gaming is a whole new world to me now- i can play the best games the way they were meant to be played and seen.  Loved Guild Wars on  my old school laptop, now on my new gaming desktop- its practically a whole new game.

I dont know what else to do besides gush... i guess ill go back to the games- tomorow maybe quake and a new keyboard...

and if im playing F.E.A.R. Ill go change my underwear too...

Im at work right now but the UPS tracker says my package has arrived at home! Which means that once i get there it is nothing but fun times hooking it up and them playing games until my face melts.

Any suggestions on where to start with a machine that can handle all games that are out right now.  I like just about everything- even though no one is going to read this- i thought id ask...

I cant wait to get home and fire that puppy up- good times.... good times...

I have been a religous xbox fan.  No bones about it- I have played the PS2, GC, Xbox and nearly everything before them and I was an Xbox fan above all else.

I sold my xbox in anticipation of the new release and went a few months just going to play Halo 2 with a bunch of budies. 

Then the reviews came out about how the xbox 360 was just going to be ok... and I got worried.  I canceled my preorder for the ultimate gamers bundle and waited for the release and the coming reviews of actual gameplay.  And you know what happened... as a gamer first and an xbox fan second- i decided to wait until the PS3 came out. 

But what to do with my load of cash from the xbox sale (I thought i was being clever- and selling early to get a better price- now i find myself searching for my xbox controller in my dreams)

I took the plunge and just ordered my new dell xps 600-- with a 19 LCD TV/Monitor and all the goodies inside- a little more expensive than the xbox 360- but Im crazy that way.

So here we go- I will soon become a man of the PC games.  Just thought id give you a heads up- and open it up to bash on me for wasting my money on a dell- instead of building it myself.  Or bash on me for liking the xbox over the PS2.  Your choice- but here we go...
