GameXtract writes "This is what happens when gamers fuse their favorite games together. While I can't particularly see Halo 3, and LittleBigPlanet fusing together well, one creator has gone through with it, and created his very own Halo 3: Finish the Fight level. In the video below, Sackboy is wearing a green costume to imitate Master Chief, and as your playing the level, the Bungie song kicks giving it the extra effect. The Warthog vehicles I have to admit are pretty nifty, and while you won't be necessarily kicking alien ass, this is definitely one of the better levels in the beta so far. Be sure to finish the fight if you have access to the beta, or watch the video after the jump!"

lol this guy is crazy to be talking about nex-generation consoles, but I do agree with him on user created appliaction, and widgets. We needs thoes, and imgine all the different apps taht would be possible without hacking your Xbox.

Playstation 4, Xbox720, and Wii 2. These are all names that many believe are not appropriate to talk about as the current generations of consoles have just arrived. This is certainly true and all current generation consoles have a long future ahead of them, but companies like Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft always look ahead, and you can be certain that research is already underway on constructing the next-generation of consoles. After analyzing the current generation these companies are realizing that their next-generation consoles will need more than simply a better CPU, and GPU. While graphics and animation look nice Nintendo has stabbed the industry with a new direction that is working beyond belief. For a console with minimum performance compared to Sony's PS3, and Microsoft's 360 this little console has proven to be completely worthy of competing as a current generation console. We can almost be certain that thanks to Nintendo all three companies will be ensuring that their next console will not only perform like a super computer, but bring new innovation to the industry. While we are no psychic to guess what the consoles will comprise of, we here at GX have created a worthy list of features that would definitely mark the next series of consoles as next generation.

The guys over at GX are posting really interesting articles recently. This one talks about a First Person Shooter MMO. I really like the idea of how it's one MASSIVE map, and there are numerous wars all going on at the same time.

One of Sony's biggest announcements at E3 this year was the unveiling of MAG. Titled Massive Action Game the game is set to submerge players into large maps capable of holding two hundred and fifty six players all at once. That's over four times the current 60 player limit that only a hand full of multiplayer games feature. While the game looked impressive from an animation stand point gamers know not to trust CGI, and to wait for in-game footage to be released. As I watched the MAG debut trailer a spinoff concept of this title stirred my mind, and after a few days of laying around in the back of my head I've decided to lay it out as a concept idea to see what reactions I receive from others. The idea has no real name so for now I'll title it FPSM (First Person Shooter MMO). The concept takes a similar approach to MAG in terms of having numerous players interacting all at once, but in a more MMO stand point. The game consist of three factions, a full world rendered map, and an FPS experience beyond anything you have yet to get your hands on. Fasten your seat belts, and switch on your imagination because this concept idea is one of the most ambitious yet to pop out of my head.

Then I guess you haven't played Project Reality. Just tried it, and I have to say that I'm Wowed. Not by the graphics or animations, but by the way the game is played. I recommend it just like the guy who wrote the article

yeah I agree, but one that really makes sense is the radar. No one in a modern battelfield would have a radar showing you the location of the enemy. That would be interesting to see how it works online. I might actually try this project reality he talked about just cause it supposedly covers alot of these points.

Now this is quite an interesting read. Basically he talks about how you can take a run and gun game and turn it into a realistic shooter in ten steps. Some things he rants about are the radars, and squad teamwork. I play COD4 all the time and I would have a hard time not using the radar. Also I'm a lone wolf myself but that is partially because I've never played with a clan or in a tournament. I can't post the whole article here as it's too long but I'll post the introduction here..

In both 2007, and 2008 year we have experienced some of the richest and most dynamic games yet to come. Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, Halo 3, and Metal Gear Solid 4 are all great examples of these advancements over the year. It's a common theory that as time passes developers get better at constructing these titles with the current consoles to bring only the best looking games. Now with graphics becoming less of a concern as detailed textures are expected to come around with each new release it's time for developers to show there next-generation move through not only the graphical, and animation aspect, but through delivering the warfare experience they all talk about. Developers have mentioned many times when creating first person shooters that they want their players to feel as though they are in an actual battlefield yet we find titles like Call Of Duty 4, and Metal Gear Solid 4 that have little to no similarities of the modern battlefield of today. Adding this reality becomes especially important through the multiplayer portion when players are constantly inserted into the exactly maps over, and over again making strategies the same, and game play no different. Developers need to bring a richer battlefield experience to engage players into a more reality like atmosphere. GameXtract have constructed ten points on ways developers can enrich the first person multiplayer experience without taking the game back to the drawing boards.
