Is anyone doing the free identity theft protection? Does anyone have any insight on the service and whether it's even worth it? I got my code but haven't decided if it's even worth using.
I'm in the same boat. I've heard the story/game in the first are pretty weak, so I don't think you'll lose out on much by reading the plot online to get caught up.
Got an amazon gift certificate and am looking to catch up on some older games. Here are the ones I'm looking at:
Uncharted 1
Killzone 2
Red Dead Redemption
What would you all recommend?
I have a stupid question that I can't find the answer to anywhere. Is it possible to use the Playstation Move as a remote for Blu Rays/Netflix. Can anyone elaborate on whether this is an intuitive, easy use of the remote/good replacement for the official remote?
This and other multimedia support is what I'm really wondering about. Right now it seems like an awesome gaming device, but with easy video and music synching and an intuitive, quick, and well supported web browser it seems like it would be a great ipad/ipod touch replacement.
Several points:
Leveraged high quality exclusive game franchises (mario, zelda, metroid etc). to sell consoles. Nintendo relies on these 1st party franchises like no other consonle maker, and wouldn't exist without them.
Back loaded console cost. The entry fee is low, which gets the consumer in, but there are a ton of additional costs (expensive controllers/additions like the nunchuck/classic controller, wi fi USB connector etc.)
Created their own game market. Call it casual, family friendly, cheap, whatever; the point is nintendo is no longer in the same market as ps3/360, and has their niche all to themselves.
