So my birthday is April 6th and I am allowed to get 2 games. Most likely I will get DMC4 when it comes out in February. The games I know about that come out in those two months are

Army of Two, World in Conflict, Condemed 2, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Ninja Gaiden 2(supposedly April 1st can anyone confirm this) and thats all I know of. If I am missing anything then please tell me.

With those games I am thinking of getting RSV2 and Ninja Gaiden(If it releases April 1st)

or

RSV2 and World in COnflict(if Ninja Gaiden doesn't release on April 1st)

Am I missing any good games in that period of months...and is World in Conflict really that good?

I have had my 360 for a little over 8 months now. Until two weeks ago, it worked flawlessly. After I bought Assassins Creed I had my first Disk Read Error and scratched disk.(Which I have been told is due to the laser?). While play Rock Band Tuesday night I got a single Red light (bottom right flashing). And today the exact same thing happened to my COD4 disk.(Disk Read Error with circular scratches on the outter part of the disk.

I'm just sorta bummed out about it really. Not really sure what I should/could do. Any tips?

Do you have a disc tray cleaner?

Because that happened to me when I was playing Lego Star War II and I got the scratched ring around the disk.

I cleaned the disc tray with the cleaner and nothing like that has happened again.

Okay, I need to be more clear. I have both component cables (yellow-red-white) and a VGA cable (which goes into my computer monitor) and neither works. The switch on the component is not on HD, thanks for trying, though.

I can get sound on both setups, but no video.

I can't get video on my 360. I get audio just fine, but I can't get video with either my regular yellow-red-white cables or my VGA cable. I've unplugged and replugged everything multiple times. It's worked just fine up until now. Honestly, I only dusted it off last week because of Mass Effect. It was playing just fine last night (and every day since ME came out, for that matter) but I get up this morning and I just can't get a picture. It doesn't change color or anything. You can't even tell I turned it on.

Is there anything I can do besides sending it in for repairs? If not, how much would it cost to get repairs? Lastly, if all else fails, is there anywhere I can sell a non-working 360, or should I just take it out back with a hammer and go back to the PS2?

Do you have component cables too? The ones that came with the 360. If you do, try plugging those into the component jacks on the tv.... hmmm, good luck. I hope you don't have to send it in to repairs, cuz mine just died, and it sucks. lol

The worst part about it, is that I got a brand new hdtv the day it died. :(

So I registered my 360 over the phone with xbox support when I was asking them to send me the box to send it too them, and I was wondering if there was a way for me to see the status of my repair on xbox.com.

I tried registering it, but is says that it cannot be completed. I already did register it with microsoft, but over the phone.

So is there some link or something that I could see it? lol

just like you discribe with your xbox, the jaggies might stand out a little more.. but they're worth it

For me, the jaggies are so bad that they really the game not fun to look at...

Is there a way to change the relolution in the game?

Like I changed the resolution on the console (to 480p) but do you have to do it for the game also?

Yeah, I just got my cables today too, and I can get it to 480p, but when I play Resident Evil, it still looks pixelated and hard to see...
