I reallly enjoyed EVE online, but the MMO elements completely ruined the game. Some skills take 3 months to get, which is ridiculous. The way they designed their skill system guarantees you will be paying to play (you don't have to play to get skills either) for several years before even getting close to some of the higher level ships.Swiftstrike5
Screw Space SIM MMO... i want space freedom.... Fly...jump...trade....gun for hire.... trade more...new ship.... stop in port here... make allies...follow a non binding storyline.....
AHHHH ..... So many ask for it...and no one makes it.....
Jumpgate might be worth a look. Haven't played it personally, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. Looks like they are making a sequel to it.zomglolcats
Hmmm... I never played EVE Online, which is where I should go for my fix... but I heard about the steep learning curve...
So games like Privateer, Privateer 2, Freelance, etc.... are awesome. So why is it so hard to find other games like them... and that are worth a damn???
Dark Horizon looks horrible...
Never liked any of the X series games...
Anything out there I may have missed in the years SINCE freelancer that has the freedom of travel aspect?
