Seriously though, I'm not overly impressed with the work they've done to make my games backward compatible either. This was something I expected to be around 95% complete by now, and they're no where near. Is it just me, or does it seem like they only got like one guy down at M$ working on this in his free time. Maybe the janitor does it in between cleaning rest rooms - I don't know. It just doesn't seem that they are striving to hard to keep ole' Peter Moores promise anymore.
Hmmm...interesting list, but now ask yourself: what does the PS3 have to offer that the 360 doesn't? Don't get me wrong, I'm getting a PS3 now too, with the price drop, but 360 is still my system of choice. The games that you list that aren't exclusive to the 360, tend to be better on the 360 than the other version(s) in my opinion.
I still care about Live. Hear me out here: Yeah, the 2K serious has been owning them for the past few years or so, but I've unlocked the formula for a good Live game: '96 was good on last gen (i.e. Genesis or SNES), but sucked on next-gen (Playstation). Then '97 sucked a little less, but still sucked. '98 was good for it's time, and the rest basically rehashed '98 excellence. Fast forward to 2001 on PS2: Horrible compared to the PS1 version...2002 sucked a little less, and 2003 was good. The remainder of the PS2/Xbox Lives more or less were built upon 2003. Okay, now, fast forward to 06 on the 360: terrible compared to it's XBox counterpart. 07 Sucked a little less....Now see, based on the game's history, we're due up for a good one in 08 as the pattern continues...
Yeah, collector's edition's typically don't offer enough value to warrant that extra $10. That being said, I tend to be a sucker for them anyhow. GGRRRGGG!!!
I'm going to have to definitely recommend GH3. I've never personally met anyone that's played a Guitar Hero game and not enjoyed it. Even my friends that aren't all that into music really got a kick out of it. Hell, I'm playing GH2 on my PS2 right now, just typing in between songs! It really is that addicting.
I've only got Wii Sports and Wii Play. I bought my Wiiprimarily to replace my Gamecube, which was stolen. I have well over 200 Gamecube games to play on it. As far the Wii games, I'll be waiting the prices down a bit. Definitely looking forward to picking up Zelda at a budget price someday though...
