October was a month were I uncovered a revelation..

I have several series were I buy the first just to try and become addicted to the series and buy the sequels on release dates. This is contrary to my usual tendancy to get the bargain when the price finally hits the $19.99 mark. Up to this point these include Metal Gear Solids, Gran Turismos, SOCOMs, Soul Reaver. This month I uncovered a new one, Devil May Cry.

The game is just so crisp considering how early it came out in the ps2 history. Dante isnt the coolest name I could think of but I've been playing FFXI for over a year now and when the main character is a gun toting trash talking DARK KNIGHT it really hits home. (Drk on FFXI) This dude is just tight with his big ole sword reminds me of my mythril heart, just wish my Drk could carry the Sparda sword. Anyway the speed and difficulty of the first one really got me worked up. Its been a long time where I actually saw a Game Over screen in a long time and I have to say I loved it.... freaking phantom. Of course now that I know how to play and get the maximum amount of eye candy as Dante flips up enemies blasting away with his famous Ebony & Ivory. Can't wait till I get DMC3 and get caught up in the series but that'll have to wait till next paycheck.
