I'm getting 650-1400-1100 oc,ing on my XFX gtx 260-896mem card. I can't go any higher, not because of the temps [72 on ATItool] but because the display driver not responding thing. Is it because of my cpu bottlenecking it---AMD6400x2 -3.2 ghz.? What would be a good OC using this cpu or not even worth oc,ing this card?

Just make sure your psu is good enough to handle that card [600 watts at least]

The thing is everything has been running fine for about a month now, since I got the card, and you know the old addage," if it isn't broke don't fix it". I'm not sure what to do. I really hate to physically put in a new psu. But , of course, I don't want to burn out the card either!

My question--I have a 580 watt psu but I noticed it only has 1 -12v rail running 25 amps. [my comp guy screwed me] The good thing is that my 260gtx is running just fine-48-idle and 80-load. That's a little high but very acceptable. I don't no much about psu consumption but I thought you should have at least 2-12v rails to run this card. I think the only thing that's saving me is that I really don't have too much hardware running off my psu, just basic. Is there anything I should be concerned with here?

-Thanks

On idle it runs at 52 degrees, which on Speedfan shows a little flame next to it. Anything below 50 is fine. So when I set the fan to auto it registers 52 and on manual at 70% it registers 47. I am wondering ,with only a 5 degree variance maybe I should just set the fan to auto, which is 20% fan speed.
