Kinect Games

When the kinect was announced(as "Project Natal"), me and million's of other were excited by just imagining the possibilities. But, when it launched, the games didn't offer what we were looking for. The tech is amazing for sure and it shows its capability in games like dance central, child of eden, kinect sports, etc. But most of the developers have still not figured out how this tech must be used. Because of that, kinect now has thousands of haters. So even if the new games are good and the controls work well, people will still hate it. A good example is rise of nightmares, it is the best kinect game that I have played till now. Even though the story is just OK and same goes for the graphics, the control scheme is unique and the most innovative scheme on kinect, I hope to see more games using a similar control scheme. Some of the developers are implementing new ideas using kinect and mixing it up with the traditional controller. Games like 'Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier' in which kinect's voice command feature is used to select weapons in it's gunsmith mode, hand gestures are used to built your custom weapons and to test them out. Another example is Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor in which you control a tank-like robot, it's predecessor used a huge controller, but this game uses kinect and the controller. It uses kinect to interact with buttons and levers inside the robot, and to interact with your teammates, the shooting and movement is done using the controller. I hope that people look at kinect games in a different way after reading this, thankyou.
