great times

I remember the first video game I saw was my big brother's Atari 2600 then he went to the commodore 64 with the cassette and stuff I remember last ninja what a game! I used to write the code on a paper so I can play behind his back. Then he got the Amiga 500 I loved it, put the floppy disk and you are good to go. Then the Amiga cd32 didn't buy many games for it though. Then I bought my first console ever the good old used NES, I used play double dragon and Mario Bros. , super Mario, shadow of the ninja man I loved that game and contra, I couldn't get Zelda and the other "good stuff" I only knew Zelda from cartoons and cereals, yeah it was the simple days. After a while I got the Sega Mega Drive or Genesis, aah the sonic days, I liked a game called heavy nova that was the game that made me buy the console. Then I moved to the SNES too much games to list, after that the mighty NEO-GEO and- there was a special offer that you get the TurboGrafx-16 with it- the amazing arcade graphics and sounds and the innovative memory card it was something, play at home reach a level and continue from there in the arcade I loved the fighting games with no exception. Then the 3DO, short but sweet. And one day I was at the games store looking to buy a game for my game gear which I did not like much, never liked hand held games for some reason, I saw the PlayStation one playing ridge racer I was blown away it was fast, but I couldn't afford it they were selling at $600 at that time so I got a Sega Saturn which was much better priced, then traded it for a Nintendo 64 which was my biggest mistake in my opinion I always thought its graphics was a bit foggy. Not so long after I got my PS1 then I got the Dreamcast -enjoyed it while it lasted-, PS2 and after a while the XBOX as gift I couldn't play it much do to a faulty disc drive but had fun with it none the less, then the game cube with it's fun family games but thought the mini DVD's idea was stupid.

All these consoles I enjoyed very much and I can't remember having heard the term fan boy/girl ever, until I got the XBOX 360 and after a while the PS3-as for the Wii I will not pay more than $250 for it so until it is available I can live with out it-, and the problem is that all consoles are great I like them all every one has its own amazing line up, people are missing the point that games are meant to be enjoyed not to flame the other person just because he/she likes the other system. But then again not all gamers went through the history of games most are new generation gamers who just got into games and don't know how to be thankful to this new technology.
