Yeah I did calibrate in the PS3 menu before starting the game. I forgot to mention in my other post, that the light on the controller doesn't stay on when Tiger Woods 11 is on. When I play Sports Champions, though, the light stays on and the controller works perfectly.

Anyone else have trouble getting the Move to work with Tiger Woods 11? I've installed all updates for the PS3 and Tiger Woods, but for some reason I can't get the controller to work with the game. I get to the menu screen and pushing start on either the Move controller or Navigation controller doesn't work. I have to turn on a sixaxis controller to get past the menu. Then when I go to My Career, it won't let play as my golfer. The golfer shows up, but it won't let me play as him with the Move controller. My golfer shows up, but I think he is assigned to the sixaxis controller. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Dude, the xbox itself is worth around $200 and plus the harddrive adds another $100. Sell it on ebay or another site. You will make alot more money and it will be more worth your while. Or if you're going to sell it for cheap sell it to an actual person. At least they will get enjoyment out of a good deal, whereas gamestop will take it for cheap and then just turn it around for more.

I looked at Ebay, but when I looked at the auctions close to ending, all I see are auctions with zero bids. There are a few selling, but nothing for more than I got a Gamestop. The conole and hard drive would never sell for $300. I bought the console for $200 two years ago. You have the console and 120 gb hard drive valued at $300 - for $300 you could get the new 360 slim with a 250 gb hard drive. Given all that, I don't think what I got at Gamestop was outrageously low. Like I said in an earlier post, I put it up on Craigslist in the Dallas area twice, and the highest bid I got was $200. I would rather have sold it an actual person, but no one offered close to what I got at Gamestop.

I'm always going to discourage getting rid of consoles/games. I did so with my gamecube, ps2 and games, and I regret it a lot.

Think twice, then if you're sure, I'd just take a stroll over to gamestop with the list and ask how much you'll get.

The reason that I decided to trade my 360 in is that I don't play enough to justify having all 3. I liked my 360 for the five years I had it, but I hadn't played it once since I picked up a PS3 in April. I didn't see any reason to have all 3 when I play maybe an hour per night. I haven't been into Halo since Halo 2 and never got into GOW, so picking the 360 was a pretty easy choice since I've enjoyed the PS3 exclusives that I've played more (God of War, Metal Gear, Heavy Rain and, to a lesser extent, Little Big Planet). That and I think Move looks a little more than Kinect. I'm not saying the 360 sucks or anything, but as older gamer (31) who doesn't have the time to play hours every day, it was a good move for me. By trading it in, I was able to reserve the Move package, a second Move remote and navigation remote, Force Unleashed II and pick up a few other games.

I took it all to Gamestop today and got around $285 for everything. Thanks to everyone who offered their opinions.

[QUOTE="MazehcS0ul"]

[QUOTE="cee1gee"]id throw it on craigslist or ebay, gamestop will rip you off...they wanted 48 bucks for my wii.....where do you live? ill buy all that from you if your in driving distancepositivebalance

For my PS3 Slim they offer 50 bucks. I think like 300+ or just asked them for store credit but hey used products Gamestop got to have a profit

so that means they have a right to rip people off? i don't understand why someone goes to jail for theft, yet gamestop gets away with it every day.

I would say the main difference between someone going to jail for theft and Gamestop is that no one takes their stuff they don't use anymore to a thief and then have them arrested because they didn't like the agreed upon price. No one makes you go to Gamestop to sell your old stuff. If you don't think they offer enough, don't go.

I would estimate about $200. The only way to know is to drive it all over to Gamestop for a trade-in price; they won't tell you over the phone.000000000111

Yeah everyone keeps telling me to call them. But I've never been able to get Gamestop to give me a quote over the phone. And since it's a console, a DS, and 24 games, I didn't want to mess dragging everything down there to hear them tell me they'd give $100 for it.

Thanks for all your input. I thought $200 seemed kind of low, but I don't know. I know you get more at Gamestop for trade-in (which I'm planning on) rather than cash. I'm the DFW area, btw.

I forgot to mention in my original post, but I'm also planning on trading in a DS Lite with New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Kart, Cooking Mama, and Final Fantasy IV.

Anyone have any idea of an approximate value of trading in all of this at Gamestop? I really don't want to drag the system and 20 games down there just to get a price. I'd rather find out an educated guess to see if it's worth trading it in there or selling it online. I posted this on Craigslist and got an offer of $200 but I wasn't sure how that would compare to Gamestop. Thanks for taking time to look through this.

Has anyone had a similar experience or have any suggestions as to a fix without having to send it off?
