Nobody cares about the blueray player. Most people but the video game system to play games. That is dumb for them to make the system so exp for a blueray player that most gamers dont care about. They did this to boost Blueray, not for the benefit of the customer.
i humbly disagree. i saw it as a benefit and still see it as a benefit. back 2 years ago and still today, i would never buy an additional high-def movie player if i spent $400+ on a gaming system. i took the 360 for a test ride when that released only to have 3 RROD's so i ebay'd it after 3 months of owning it. solid hardware and a bluray player are definitely selling points for me nowadays. and let's not forget i had a much easier time setting up the media server on ps3 than 360

never had a system break down until i owned 360 for a few months. got tired of sending it in every 3 weeks so i bought ps3. NO problems since - got a 20gb from release
why does this topic always come up with new games?
game makers and publishers wouldn't release a game without making everything work. so there may be glitches the first few days after release, but all gets fixed!
