PC gamer worried about droping $400-500 on a gaming system in 1080p with a blu-ray player? Doesn't make sense. I do both, and as you should know they are totally different. Different games - diffferent play feels - you don't need to ask people either get it or don't.
I got my premium at Target with an HDMI output. Look for 360s with recent production dates (they also have a different model number).I've also noticed it quieter. Happy hunting.
After half a dozen 360 games getting scratched, I changed it to lay flat (horizontal) - done - no more scratching. I haven't tried standing the PS3 upright - but after my 360 experience - my consoles are all going flat.
If you've played the PC or 360 version don't bother getting it. There aren't any improvements since those versions. I think when it first came out (PC) it was one of the best - AI - graphics ..etc. I recently played it again on the PS3, and I found myself wanting more. Regarding the frame rate - yes its not up to par with the previous versions. The devs - just didn't spend the time to port it over to the PS3.
