Wow, I have seen some crazy things posted in System Wars but this one is pretty close to the top. Instead of "PS3 > 360 (No Fanboys PLZ)" You should have titled you post "I'm a Fanboy and PS3>360 (No one who disagrees with me PLZ)."

It's sad that considering the laughability and irony of your post it's a sure bet that none of what I just said will make any sense to you. Wow, just wow! Hang in there slick, it may just sink in some day.

Fanboy Logic always keeps System Wars entertaining. Systems Wars is kind of like professional wrestling....you know it's stupid and a waste of time but there is just something entertaining about it that brings you back once in a while.

There really isn't any clear definition of a "Casual Gamer" as is evident by all different definitions we've seen here. Honestly I believe it boils down to what the individual wants to call themselves. Those that call themselves "Hardcore Gamers" are really the only ones who are not casuals. If you are a "Casual Gamer" you either don't want to be in the "Hardcore Gamer" camp or really don't care about either label. I personally can take or leav it as far as gaming goes. I enjoy time with my daughter and son more than gaming but I do enjoy a good game now and then. I certainly don't consider myself Hardcore.

Peter Dille:
"With the Xbox 360 you've got an inconsistent design, some have a harddrive, some don't, and none of them have Blu-Ray, and the HD DVD will be out of business in a matter of months. Is this a 10 year product? And by the way it doesn't even work. Do they want to be selling it for 10 years and refurbishing them all for 10 more years? I don't think that's a 10 year product. You could disagree with me, or they could disagree with me, but I'd put that up against the PS3 any day"

'Owned'.

Owned? Are you serious? Here:

Blu-Ray Loses

Blue Ray and HD DVD evenly split.

Now, did I "Own you" with these quotes? Not really. Just like old Peter's comments these are the OPINIONS of one person. Don't try to claim ownage on old quotes from a biased source. It just ends up making you look silly.

To be honest I could care less about Blu-Ray or HD DVD because I bought my gaming system to play games. In all honesty I do believe the PS3 is the better hardware of the two systems. Form me, it just wasn't enough to justify getting a PS3 at this time. I was more interested in playing some good quality games at a fairly reasonable price and didn't want last gen technology so I got the Xbox 360 for now. I never owned the original Xbox (was a Sony fan) but what Sony offers for a gaming platform does not justify the price to me so I honestly will be enjoying the 360 for a few years till the PS3 is within the price range that I feel a console should be sold at.

I don't think I'm the only one who has made that same decision and jumped ship. I'll definately get a PS3 in the future (I'm one of the few who actually really liked Killzone) to play Killzone, Ratchet and Clank and a few other titles I loved on the PS2 but it's going to be quite a while. I'm actually hoping more people made the same decision and it hurst Sony so that console manufacturers will not get carried away with prices on their next systems. Nintendo had the right idea on price but I don't like Nintendo much (not since the SNES) and they could have offered a little more power in the system than they did to be honest.

If you like your PS3 then more power to ya. Just don't become so blinded by you fanboyism that you can't see that a good number of people prefer the 360 and have legitimate reasons. Sorry to burst your bubble but the PS3 and Blu-Ray are not the end all in technology and neither is the 360. In all honesty as a gamer you should be focusing on sending Sony a message to concentrate more on making a gaming system and less on an all-in-one entertainment device. The PS2 was successful because it was about gaming and because it was priced right. Sony has abandon their old philosophy and it's hurting them or at least it should be.
