I found out today...I have a boyfriend. It's a really weird story, yet funny...here's how it goes. Over the weekend I asked this boy Andrew (who I happen to like) to be my boyfriend. I'm too chicken to do it in real life, so I did it over myspace private messaging. My message was "You're probably going to laugh, and I don't blame you, but will you be my boyfriend?" (short version). He wrote me back saying "i'm not laughing" which I kind of assumed was a no. so I moved on.
Yesterday I was out of school because we were delayed over snow and my mom decided not to send me. Today I go to school and my friend Katie asks
"so are you and Andrew going out?"
me: "well I asked him, but he never really answered. why?"
Katie "because I heard that you were"
Me: "...wha-? Who said?"
Katie: He was telling Pri about it
Then after that I got a text message from my friend Ashli saying
"So what's going on between you and Andrew?"
Me: "I don't know! why?"
Ashli: "Because I heard you were going out"
Me: "Who says?!"
Ashli: "Dunno...ppl"
And I'm just sitting the whole time thinking "What the hell?"
Anyways, today was 1st Amendment Day. Put simply, we talk about how the 1st Amend. applies to different things in our lives. We had to go to two workshops. The second one I went to consisted of the following friends: Kimmy, Sam W, Ashli, Jessie and - you guessed it - Andrew. I ended up sitting next to him. Ashli was on the other side of him. We texted each other the whole time. When we weren't texting, we talked outloud, and - no lie - she reffered to him as my boyfriend three different times. And he didn't deny it. He even responded to it once.
Me: Ashli do you have a pencil I could borrow?
Ashli: No, ask your boyfriend
Andrew: Sorry, I only have one
And again, I'm just sitting there like "whoa, did he actually respond to being called my boyfriend?"
So yeah...interesting day
