There's No Such Thing As Ghosts...

...or is there?

Today in Algebra we (Nick, Katie, Allie, and I) were talking about anything other than Algebra. Somehow our topic lead to ghosts (I don't remember how...oh right, Allie said she thought her room was haunted). And we were talking about times when we were home alone, how we heard weird noises and everything. And Nick was telling us once that when he was like half awake, half asleep, he was staring at his bedroom door. It had Christmas lights hung above it (decoration thing) and while he could have sworn he turned them off before he went to bed, when he looked at them he saw they were on. And then he said he saw this really short kid standing in the door, just staring at him. Nick said he stared for like five minutes, and finally fell back to sleep. And when he woke up the next morning, the lights around his door were off.

(quick story interjection - there are sirens going off a couple streets over. Scared the hell out of me).

So now that Nick's thoroughly scared the crap out of us, Allie starts telling a story. She said one night while she was sleeping, she felt someone sit down on her bed (you know how when even you're asleep, you feel someone next to you? Well, I do at any rate...) but when she woke up, there was no one there. And the funny thing is, she could feel someone still sitting there.

Scared yet? I wasn't. But it was 8:30 in the morning, all the lights were on and there was a lot of noise in the room. So I started a story of my own. This one goes back awhile ago, to when I was like...four-ish. I woke up one night to go to the bathroom. When I left my room, I was facing the stairs. And I swear, I saw someone coming up them. The only thing is, everyone who lived in the house (my grandparents and my mom; this was pre-Paul) were home. I never did get to the bathroom that night.

Anyways, now I'm really regretting telling those stories, because I'm freaking out. I'm home alone tonight, and I'm sorry, but this apartment makes f***ing weird noises. So now I'm completely freaked, and I'm going to go to school tomorrow and hit Allie for getting us onto the ghosts.
