It's good to see that Katie is trying to get the gamers view point as well, violent games I feel are just one of many of societies problems that are behind these killings. The gaming industry is just a scape coat because the politicians haven't got the power to take on the NRA. Gaming in other countries doesn't cause these kinds of problems on the scale it is occurring in America, so there are obviously other things contributing to the problem. I don't play many violent games but when I do it is usually because I had a bad day and I am blowing off some steam. In this case gaming is helping to avoid real violence, but constant playing of violent games is unhealthy for a person. People need to have a balance of activities in life in order to stay healthy both physically and mentally.
I have been looking forward to getting a wii u since it came out but with still no games that interest me on the wii u there's just no reason for the purchase. Sounds like some of the developers are just lazy and don't want to put in alittle more effort on the wii u games, it's just easier to say the wii u is weak so we won't make games for it.
The first thing Nintendo should do is fire the idiot that named it the Wii U, by having the word Wii in it there's no wonder people are confused and think it's a Wii with a tablet accessory.
It sounds like someone doesn't like all the chaos and hard work that covering E3 entails. Nintendo should be having a presentation at E3 that covers a whole bunch of new game that will be coming out in the next 6 months.
It's sad to see e3 become less important to gaming companies. Last year I booked the whole week off from work so I could watch the presentations live. But things are changing and not always for the best for the gamers. Gaming is still fun but the industry is starting to feel dead and some of the fun is fading away. I know companies need to make a profit but the focus now seems to be to much on the money and it's sucking the life out of the industry. Maybe a industry collapse is really happening?
@Solid_Chub the wii u isn't even competing with the current generation so until Nintendo gives gamers a reason to buy the console, their just going to keep spinning their wheels. I would love to buy a wii u right now but there's just nothing in it's library of game's I want yet. To be fair, it takes atleast a year for new consoles to get some momentum. So I am not counting out the wii u yet.
