There's no way a new console that has all the features that were announced on the 20th is going to be $300, 400 to 500 is much more likely. A big question is what will the games cost new?
This is the problem with many game companies, their greed and unwillingness to listen to the gamers often spoils what could of been great opportunities for both company and consumer. Sony continues this trend with the Vita, great handheld tech but poor pricing and service. (lack of games) I only have 2 games for the Vita after supporting Sony and buying the Vita at launch. C'mon man!
If the wii u had a couple of good rpg's I might think about getting a wii u, but until then I don't have any reason to get one. I bought my wii just to play fire emblem radiant dawn.
I am going to have to be much more cautious when buying games in the future. Demos are going to be more important as tools for deciding whether or not I buy a game in the next-generation. I wonder if blu ray movies will also adopt this anti piracy technology as well?
