@Muteki_X @bignick217 I agree with both your statements, I am sorry I wasn't clear about that. I think it's a good idea but dumping all the blame on parents in the type of society we live in is unfair. The problem isn't that simple.

@bignick217 It's not entirely the parents fault either, a single parent is working all the time just to provide for their family and is so burnt out that they can't keep track of every thing their kid or kids are doing. Kids can get away with alot because of the legal systems interference in family matters, dicipline has been watered down. ( I not saying child abuse is ok.) Kids go over to a friends home and play games not ment for their age group. Or a older kid is playing a game and a younger sibling is watching. There's just no way to stop it all from being out there, what about youtube video's of game play?

What about downloading games, how will they deal with that? Is Jim Matheson even aware that people can download games? Is there going to be simular laws put in place against movies and TV shows? And then there's comicbooks and manga, you can't just blame one type of media for all the problems.

Butler should of know better, the article states his contract with Sony has a clause in it that prohibited him from endorsing any of Sonys gaming compeditors for a certain amount of time. Butler agreed to the contract and received money, being in a Bridgestone comercial was ok but endorsing Nintendo in the comercial was clearly a breach of his contract with Sony. As soon as Butler seen the Wii he should of made Bridgestone aware of his contract with sony. Why he didn't or just went ahead with the comercial is unknown. Clearly Butler is at fault in this case.

@TheCornal The mind thats controlling the body decides to pull the triger or not to pull the trigger. I have hear that this is the least violent time the world has ever known and I don't baleave that propogata at all. Reports are changing from one finding to another all the time so I don't baleave that BS. Things are worse now compaired to 3 or 4 years ago and I don't need other people to tell me what my own eyes can see is happening.

Religions don't have to pay taxes just because they balieve theres a all powerful magical man living in the clouds thats spying on them and will send them to hell if they don't do what the child loving priests say. Thats enough to send most sane people insane.

There part of the problem so I added them in the comment, the cruel harasment of bullies is a major factor for mental health problems in people. Also the over the top macho kill em all additude of the armed forces is very strong in games and society. The armed forces is also a haven for rapist, nearly everyday I hear reports of rape which is another form of violence. So they both needed to be a part of my opinion but thanks for telling me what I should or shouldn't say.

What about all the other soures of violence and negitive influences, like movies and TV. Also they should tax bullies and the news because there violent or show violence. Also tax the government and the armed forces to.

This is completly tastless. The people that created this and then thought to sell this are metally unstable. Anyone who see's this and thinks hay thats cool I should get that is sick in the head.
