Hello,
I would like your expert opinions on my PS2 memory card issue.
Weird thing is, the memory card is recognized by the PS2. It can even load a save game while in-game. It just cannot save anymore.
It is an original Sony PS2 memory card.
Is this a known issue? Could it be the memory card, the connection or the console itself? IMO it is really weird that it loads but cannot save...
Thank you for your assistance!
sorry, but the game is far from terrible. At the time it was absolutely top-notch. You may not like it now, but that doesn't make the game terrible.
@towelgirl21:
I would really like to know this as well. :-)
Mario on the 3DS oh who would have known! Great for Mario and Nintendo fans but oh my god i got tired of him years ago.JohnF111
Actually...Mario still has some life in him left. Nintendo just have to refocus on the platforming. Get some Super Meat Boy elements in and you would have a new and refreshing Mario experience. Just do it with care and the transition from e.g. Super Mario Land 2 wouldn't even be that weird.
[QUOTE="GD1551"][QUOTE="lbjkurono23"] What kind of angels dress like that? :P I'm hoping it does great, nothing better then to watch the elitist get burn.Chris_Williams
Concerned fans are elitists.. I want the game to be good to but I have my doubts.
call me shallow, call me a devil may cry elitist but i want this game to fail, i want it to fail hard, why couldn't they call this something else? why call it DMC and why call the character Dante, why reboot the series when it doesn't need to be reboot. Why does the new dante need to smoke, half angel, half devil really? sounds like something in a bad fan fiction.And once again I agree. Please get that stupid wannabe-Dante out of my face. Or let him be mutulated and slowly killed by Mundus.. Oh...wait..hang on there...hold that thought....maybe this game does have some potential :shock:
[QUOTE="turtlethetaffer"]You are wrong. People moan and b**** about the PS3 lacking PS2 compatibility all the time, there was an outrage when that was first announced, cows had to go underground. The Gamecube was one of Nintendo's best systems- it stands as a symbol for back when Nintendo was hardcore, at the cutting edge of gaming, when they took risks with their games, when you could buy their system and be assured of a constant inflow of quality games, even if all those games were coming from Nintendo themselves. The Wii, as much as it is the 'true son of Gamecube' as far as technical aspects and all are concerned, is the exact antithesis of the Gamecube, and represents a new, different Nintendo. The Gamecube and its controller are held dear by people because they have come to represent the old Nintendo. Axing Gamecube support is basically indication of the fact that the true Nintendo legacy is dead forever.People like to find minimal excuses to hate something.
Meanwhile, PS3 requires an update to be compatible with PS2 games, let alone PS1 games. Exact same thing but you don't here people complaining about that.
This is why I will take good care of my Gamecube, so I can still play games on it.

So true... too bad a lot of people don't seem to agree (regarding your Wii vs. GC statement).... The GC was the last system for me when EVERY Nintendo title coming out was at least worth buying...
i'm glad the series is taking a new direction, DMC has become stale and stagnated over the years. DMC 4 was an absolute borefest, adding absolutely NOTHING to the series. the new look of dante is better too, the original dante always looked corny. it's hilarious how upset fanboys are over a new hairdo.
lazerface216
It's not just the fanboys, and it isn't just the hairdo either.
DMC as a series really did develop with the 4 entries; the only real problem with DMC4 was just that it featured the same game twice (Nero and Dante)...
Gamers just saw enough possibilities with the characters already established, like Nero, Vergil etc.. This just seems to have the same gameplay and same combos as DMC4 only with a character which doesn't seem to fit in the DMC universe... So why on earth would we exacty need the reboot?
Will the new look/personality by itself really attract that many new gamers to the DMC franchise??? It sure looks like that is exactly what Capcom was thinking and that is just annoyingly STUPID imo..

[QUOTE="Chris_Williams"] also, smoking = coolmadsnakehhh
Probably they're just putting everything in that is considered 'cool' by some typical insecure high-school teens....
Or even worst, by NT boss :(
According to some, Capcom is the one that 'demanded' these changes.... they probably had some stupid and failing market-analysis-thing going on.....
Perhaps the same thing they used when cancelling Mega Man on the 3DS....
[QUOTE="dirktu"][QUOTE="foxhound_fox"] If NT's past game's combat is something to draw from, then I doubt it could get "worse" for a series that depends on its stylish crazy action to be great. And I'm still confused as to why it needed a reboot in the first place. DMC4 did well commercially, and has a strong fan following. Not to mention they released an anime and have developed the universe around the game quite a bit. This is one of those "unnecessary" reboots.Chris_Williams
Exactly....
Not impressed with the trailer:
