i've always been a multi platform game player.  though the games available on the PC in the 90's were so much more complex, and at that rate more re-playable.  Kings Quest, Police Quest, Tie Fighter and Xwing, the REALLy oldskool Terminator game (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Terminator_%28DOS%29).

games are modable on the PC which (assuming you get quality modding for a specific game) makes the games more replayable.

i love my nintendo lineage though.  still have my first NES.  still works.  kicking since 1987.  wow.  i feel old.
