It has to be a Dell because like you said I'm paying with a CC. I'm going to use this mostly for rendering my work in Maya and Zbrush. I don't plan on buying another computer for a while so I want this one to be able to hold me over for a couple years.

I'm trying to figure out what laptop I should get and this is the one I'm thinking off. Its has to be a Dell and a laptop. Please share your opinions, thanks.
I have the opportunity to buy a laptop and was planning on putting together an Alienware but I'm undecided as to what parts I should choose. Can anybody help me and let me know what the best graphics card, processor, ect I should choose? My main focus for this computer is to use Maya and render work out so I'm looking for something powerful but less then $2K, thank.
I was talking with a friend of mine and we got into a discussion about games. First topic was about NG2 and DMC4. I said that even though the fighting gameplay is completely different, they were comparable and similar and he just completely disagreed and said they are completely different and uncomparable. What do you guys think?
Second topic we talked about was how we prefered to beat our games. I don't have the time to play games as much as before so when I play, I usually play in the normal difficulty so that I could play through the game in a reasonable time period. He on the other hand doesn't play as many games but the ones he does he beats in the max difficult setting. He feels that if you don't play the game at the max difficult setting then your not playing the game the developers want you to. How do you prefer to beat your games? and why?
I suggest going to a Best Buy or Target. Someplace where they sell more then just games. I walked into Gamestop and each store said they were sold out and had people waiting on list for the new Xbox slim. They painted this picture like it was impossible to get, some of the employees even laughed when I called. Then I went to the shopping center right next door, to the Best Buy and guess what I find. A pyramid of Xbox slims in the game area. Had me wondering how Gamestop's everywhere were sold or so they said and Best Buy had like 20.
Billy, why are you so fast to call people names like fanboy or ignorant when they dont share your ideas? In no way am I a fanboy for any company. I'm a computer animation major, and I know the different stages and difficulties in game making. IMO releasing a game with 30+ characters, new gameplay, new stages, and on a new engine is not half-assed at all. I understand what your saying about the game probably having some of the same characters as before but again I don't see this as that big of a negitive and if they are putting characters in the game like Dante then I wanted to hear other peoples top choices for new characters.
On another note, why would anybody expect a game that is being created from scratch to have a roster of 80+? When the first MvC came out it had less then 25 characters. Street Fighter 4 had 25 characters, Capcom vs Tatsunoko has 26, Soul Calibur 4 has 34 characters, Tekken 6 has around 43 characters and Dead or Alive 4 had less then 25 also. So are all these game half-assed also?
Another repost... And like I said before, a wishlist is pretty useless. Capcom has said that there are going to be around 30 playable characters total on this game. It's going to flop hard. The Dreamcast and PS2 versions of Marvel vs. Capcom II had almost 60 playable characters. So once you get past Wolverine, Iron Man, Ryu, Chun Lee, and other twenty-some characters that you just know are going to be on here there is room for like 4 more. This is an absolute slap in the face to fans of the series that was mainly popular for the vast selection of characters. They are going to sell you a half-finished game for $60 and then expect you to buy DLC packs to get the rest of it.
And for anyone who is gullible enough to believe that the low number of characters is due to having to do 3d modelling or disc space... Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 has 67 playable characters. Yeah... a WWE game has almost 40 more characters than Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The DS version of Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 has 30 playable characters. Way to go Capcom!

I don't agree with this at all. First they said the roster is going to be 30+ and yeah its less then before, but you have to understand that they are creating this game from scratch. They are creating everything new using the MT Framework engine so they don't have the luxery to build off of previous work like Smackdown vs Raw 2010 does. If they were going to keep the game the exact same as before then they would've been able to keep all their previous characters and just add more but they are being more original, which is better.
How is this a slap in the face to the fans? A slap in the face to fans IMO would be to keep the game the exact same, add new characters and stages and just keep doing what they already know works. As a fan, I'm glad to see them come out with a fresh looking game that can revolutionize fighters just like the last one. I have no clue where you get the idea they'll be selling a half-finished game and EXPECTING you to buy DLC for the rest. You know you have a choice in what you pay for right?
So I'm sure everybody already saw the article in GI this month confirming some of the charactors in the game. I was wondering which charactors would us fans like playing with and so, which charactors would you like to see in the game? These are the ones I would like to play with.
