I disagree with those people that say there isnt much of a difference between high and very high. Check out the image comparison with the shaders... very high shaders FTW!! The colour palette looks amazing on very high, looking far more realistic than the slightly too bright high quality. The haze in the first image comparison looks amazing, just like a real tropical island! Admittedly some people might like the bright-boldness of the high quality though.

to herodotus2006, are you serious? Dune 2 was released in 1992 and Dune 1 wasn't even an RTS game. Anyway, looking forward to World in Conflict, if the developers can pull off psuedo MMO RTS it will be awesome to play.

This is a bit of a strange test because i mean, what sort of people could be able to afford a system like the one they tested (X6800, 8800GTX) etc and not have at least 2GB of good memory?!? I'm sure a system that good would be incredibly fast anyway. Wouldn't it make more sense to test a more mainstream PC to see if it helps, im sure a lot of people would have flash drives around that they could use to give their games a slight boost when they have 2 or 3 year old CPU's or GPU's - that would be a more meaningful benchmark.
