Multiplayer: A week ago I considered it a tie. COD had the good close quarters/small maps, while Battlefield has the bigger, sandbox environments with vehicles. But after playing the BC2 Beta, I say BC2 is way better than MW2. MW2's guns lack the realism and recoil that the guns in Bad Company 2 have. The destructible environment has been greatly improved since the first game, and you can take down entire buildings if you have the right weapon. I also like the way that they did the unlocking system. Even though it probably will be the better game, Bad Company 2 probably isn't going to get the same popularity as Modern Warfare, simply because of all the hype that Modern Warfare had. Single Player This is probably going to go to COD. Bad Company 1's single player was bland and boring, while COD usually has exciting and fast paced missions.

BTW what are those skill levels with each weapon?

Spolings
I think that it helps weapon handling and reload time, but don't quote me on it.

Well you can't use it for your PSN account's pic for obvious reasons, but you should be able to use it for your pic in your XMB account.

Unless you feel the need to cam with random strangers and have good times:P, then yes it is a waste of money. It would be worth it if you could take pics like the 360.

You can take pics with it...

What? Since when can you take pics and send them/use them as personal pics?

You can use EyeCreate to take pics, and you can send them in messages. Not sure what you mean by "personal pics" though.

It's a big waste of money... I got it free from a buy 2 get one free sale for PS3 accessories. It's been like two months since I've bought it, but I've only used it once as a replacement mic when my bluetooth one ran out of bats. It's going to be a lot more useful once the motion controllers come out though.

[QUOTE="dk00111"]I love the sniping in this game. Much better than BC1. Although I do have to say the game has a lot of jaggies...Dsage777

Really? For me its annoying cause the bullets drop. I don't care if its realistic, I just don't like it.

Yeah, the dropping bullets take a while to get used to, but I prefer them over the "slow bullets" in the first one.

I also found a few, but relatively minor problems with the new firmware update. I have the 40GB version if it helps.

After I downloaded the update, I restarted the PS3, excited to see the new friends list and Facebook features. After about 5 minutes however, I began to hear my PS3's fan noise increase greatly. I took a glance, and saw it shaking viciously on the TV stand. Sharp objects began coming out of the blu-ray drive, and I assumed that the disk inside cracked and shattered. I was very wrong. Within the next 5 minutes, it began growing arms and legs, and the sharp objects were its teeth. I quickly plugged the PS3 out of the electrical outlet but it was too late. It seemed as if the PS3 managed to build its own electrical generator inside within those 5 minutes. My 6 year old brother tried hitting it with a hammer, but the PS3 became angry and swallowed him whole. In half an hour, the PS3 grew to the size of my two story home! The swat team was alerted and managed to take down the PS3, but not without heavy damage to my house and car. I have tried contacting Sony over this issue, but they haven't responded yet.

Is anybody else facing this issue? I have found that the weakness of the monster-like PS3 that transforms post-firmware 3.10 is the power switch behind it. If you manage to hit the switch after it transforms, it gets deactivated and crumbles down. That is how the Swat team managed to disable it. If you have a PS3 Slim and this has happened to you, I honestly hope you have a spare RPG hanging around, because I think the power switch is the only way to "kill" it.

Hopefully Sony fixes this in their next patch before anyone gets hurt. For now though, I wouldn't update if I were you.

post of the year nominee

agreed.

lol thanks! :)
